To help these dogs, special training is essential, focusing on building confidence, impulse control, trust, and behavior modification techniques. With the right approach, reactive dogs can learn to navigate their surroundings more calmly and confidently.

Reactive Rovers Basics
This is where most dogs will begin. Working with reactivity requires more than just "training". A combined approach that features management, training, behavior modification, and enrichment is typically necessary. ​
Intro to K9 Nose Work
K9 Nose Work helps build confidence while also providing mental and physical exercise. Dogs will work one at a time, so crating in the building or in your car is required. Reactive dogs may do better safely crated/house in your vehicle. Intro to Nose Work classes are taught at RyeDoodle Boarding, Training, & K-9 Sport Complex.
Pattern Games for Predictability
Pattern games help create predictability, which in turn can help create better focus and calmer behavior. We integrate pattern games into all of our private coaching sessions for reactivity and aggression.

Casper
