Service Description

This class is designed for dog owners who are ready to move beyond constant food luring and into clear, intentional communication with their dog. While food rewards remain a valuable part of training, this course focuses on how and when to use them effectively—without relying on treats in your hand or on your body. You’ll learn the critical difference between bribing and rewarding, and how improper use of food can slow learning and reduce reliability. Through the use of markers, timing, and thoughtful reinforcement strategies, your dog will gain a clearer understanding of behaviors and respond with greater confidence. We’ll also introduce the power of toy play and personal engagement as reinforcement. Learn how to build value in interaction, develop play skills, and become more relevant to your dog than the environment around them. By expanding beyond food alone, you’ll create a more balanced, motivated, and connected training experience. This class will guide you in fading visible rewards, reducing dependency on immediate reinforcement, and building behaviors that hold up in real-life situations—not just when treats are present. Perfect for teams who want more focus, stronger engagement, and a reliable partnership built on clarity, communication, and connection—not constant compensation.
